Sims 2 ultimate collection MIGHT be coming back to Origin

I have the game and all expansion packs, I can install the base game and with great difficulty I could install ONE of the expansions pack, wich really isn't enough for how I want to play. But then...

What a letdown. I had the Aspyr version for Mac but it did leave a few things out. Namely hobbies.

Actually I just found a box with all the sims 2 disks, so maybe I will try to figure out how to play them. I know for the original sims I had use a patch to bypass security software that is not in use on newer OS, so I wonder if it will be like that. Plus just dealing with a disc drive is a hassle theses days so I really wish they would make a digital version.
