RandDoUrden EA has made no announcements about allowing disk copies to redeem the new version. If you wish, you can still play the game using disks and an external drive, but you will need to apply some compatibility fixes.
I will be locking this thread since it is 6 years old; if you need help with your disk copies please start a new thread.
