I LOVE this! Maaan what if there was an expansion pack with legacy things inside for us old-timey Sims fans (who can't recreate anything/don't want to download it lol) You're focused on the Sims and houses/lots, but go even further! Popular/memorable objects and outfits from Sims 1/2/3, even the main Sims characters would be a trip to the past. Your lots looks great! I think I have a new save-file theme to attempt :)
