Glad I'm not the only one! When I say "hard", I mean it in the best sense of the word. It takes effort! There are many things I really love about TS3 but if I walked away, leaving it playing, I would probably come back to find my sim playing in the sandbox, clapping for no reason, with their motives having only decreased a smidge. In TS2, I could walk away for five minutes and come back to find the whole family dead lol. It really takes more attention, and there is more skill involved. With my TS3 toddlers, every one of them grew up having learned to walk, talk, and use the potty...no problem. In TS2...you basically need 4 adults in the house to even hope to make that happen, haha. And, the house is a filthy mess. Here are some screenshots I took today of poor parents Michael and Melody Bourne who are just trying to get through life with two toddlers (the newborn aged up).
No explanation needed here. lol Mom and Dad are too exhausted to even eat...or to wipe the salad off of their face.

Ah, poor Michael. He had come home from work during a thunderstorm to find his two toddlers screaming on the porch, and Mom passed out in the rosebushes. He took a deep breath before heading up the stairs...but in that moment...BAM....struck by lighting (an ominous warning? lol)
