There appears to be a massive issue for loads of players receiving various messages followed by the game crashing. In classic EA style they have released a game that is completely unplayable. I wish I had saved my money and waited for other player's reviews before buying the game. PLEASE WAIT to buy until EA have sorted this mess out!!!
I have requested a refund for the 25th Birthday Bundle already. I could not get Sims 2 to load. This is the first time I've ever bought a Sims game (or any expansion/pack) on release because I was looking forward to playing 2 "out of the box" but it is unfortunate.
Guess it's good I waited. I was expecting it was going to be a buggy mess because well you know but sad I was right again. Hopefully they fix it I will continue cc "shopping" online making my plans in case they ever fix it
I've clearly been one of the lucky ones. Sims 2 so far has worked OK for me, albeit I wasn't on for long.
It's Sims 1 I can't get running, anytime I try launch it it just returns me to the EA App! Wouldnt be EA , if they didn't have something fail on launch day+
They refused to refund my game due to this being a "known issue". 🙄
