I just added the first two lots to game and now see that you've finished your port build @soocoolsim - I'll add that and take a look around in a bit, but of course I love the seaplane.
I love the rock and extra wide gables @IdahoGal65 but I personally thought the island seating and fridge area will be a bit tight when hosting parties. It's probably fine. I just like more room. And I missed the sawhorse combo with the shelf until @soocoolsim mentioned it. I so plan to reuse that idea at some point!!!
@Sandraelle - I noticed that the sink was missing in the half bath for me as I don't have store content installed in this folder, so.... items aren't always replaced with like items.
Question on hampers; When I play my sims, they will always leave their clothes on the floor unless there is a hamper in that room, so I put a hamper in every room there is a bed or a shower or a door to the outdoors, and even then, if they are in an interior room and I tell them jog somewhere, poof, the old clothes are lying on that floor because there wasn't a hamper there. Do you usually just drag the clothes to one hamper yourself or do clothes magically end up in one hamper with neat sims? Just curious. I know we all play differently.
edited to change brick to rock and add a comment.
@ciane, yes I used a store sink in the powder room; the Worthington Washbasin. Since that's a stand-alone sink that's probably why it didn't get replaced. I used at least 20 some store items in that build, so I'm afraid a lot of stuff will not be how I meant it to look or the right colors if you're not allowing store items. The kitchen cabinets, the rocking chairs on the deck, several plants, wall decor, the outdoor shower, some laundry stuff, some decor, lights, the poof chair I used in the window seats, etc, so I bet some areas look pretty funny, huh? I usually take pretty detailed pictures so you can verify the items there.
I usually try to place a hamper in my bedrooms (if I have room). If there's no room, then I at least put one in the bathroom. This build has one in the bathroom. Yeah, I've noticed my sim's clothes will be thrown on the floor if there is no hamper in the room, so I just click on it and say "clean up" and they take it to the room that has the hamper (usually the bathroom).
