AuntieLynds, I looked through all of your detailed CAW help links (very well put together). Sadly, I have not came across my particular error. I actually tried to move the files you suggested and I still had the same problem.
I can run CAW and save and the whole nine yard, but I get an error pop up when I try to go to "edit in game". I tried to open a pre-sample world and when I went to "Edit in game", I got the same below error.
The error states that my sims game can not be initialized with the error code (0x024e24f).
I am currently patched to 1.33 and have Showtime.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
