I googled your error message, and found your post at MTS in the Caw forum there, LOL. That is exactly what I was going to suggest. You need Simsample, or one of the other simmers that frequent MTS with more technical understanding than I have. I haven't seen that particular error come up in any discussions, so I don't know what could be causing it. I'll keep an eye on your post there because I'll be interested to see what they come up with.

We're at version 1.16.2
I appreciate your efforts AuntieLynds. I've already read those and I am not getting those thypes of errors. CAW will run and save, just won't go to Edit in Game.
I did try the clearing the cache and moving the files out of the game directory, but CAW still won't go to the Edit in Game area.
I did check my versions. My Sims are at 1.33.2 and CAW is at 1.16.2
Do you think maybe that the latest patch is causing trouble?? Also, so you know, that I have never tried the CAW prior to the 1.33 patch.
