Aunty Lynds I have an idea why Deblake got that to work on his sons pc but got the error on his and it might have been mismatched update for the 64 bit system he had. As someone who also came across strange errors with a variety of programs - I discovered that many program newest updates default to 32 bit still and often if we are not aware we have a lot of mismatches even browsers - like for the longest time I was not aware when I updated to the 64 bit Internet Explorer 9 - as the 32 bit version is the one that automatically installs - that things like the adobe software, flash player, Reader, adobe air and then Oracle Java always download the default 32 bit which then mismatches with everything else in the system that may be 64 bit. I had to go through all my software and updated everything to 64 bit and I eventually stopped getting stange errors.
One last thing check Origin frequently Caw users for updates - it has updated like twice in the last three weeks - the last one of which fixed a couple weird problems the previous update possibly caused - then check adobe flash player for the newest update too before redownloading CAW. It seems from what some people tell me to assure they actually get the newest version of CAW the first time - but I cannot verify being I still don't use CAW. Just figured I could pass on the info in case it was helpful.
ETA - Systems with Windows 7 can run both Internet explorer 32 bit and 64 bit but you also have to have both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Java to do so and flash player or you get those errors.
