Basically what I did was generate a new The Sims 3 folder specifically for the world. I do this for all worlds I build. Then I ONLY installed Midnight Hollow Gold and Dragon Valley. That way I knew that the 'light' world could only be built using the expansions, stuff packs, and those two worlds.
Cinderellimouse: I really love your world and am happy to have an English Country side world to play in my game. I read your previous post and wanted to ask you about the above info on the new folder you make for the world. I'm trying to figure out what you do with your other sims folders when you are using a smaller one for world building. How does your world know which folder it belongs to? I'm just getting started with building worlds and for the world I want it would make sense to make a new folder and not have to weed thru things that make no sense for the world and I would hope it would make faster loading also. I still have not managed to get into EIG yet with my world, but, don't have much time during the week to investigate why. EIG is where the smaller sims folder would come into play?
