Hi Gem, this is beautiful. I don't know if I will buy Show Time just because I already can run only very spare worlds if they are large, like desert worlds with not many trees and lots that don't have much on them.
This is a large world with quite a bit of detail on the lots, but I am patched all the way up to the recent patch and I do have all the same store items and Dr Pepper Items you are using so I will at least try to play this on my computer. I don't know how much actual testing I can do because we will have to see how bad my computer will lag at filling in textures.
Here are the specs I can find on my Mac laptop:
Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 6 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
The graphics card info:
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Type: GPU
Bus: PCIe
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
And this is my other Graphics card (there are 2 in the machine, I think the first one is the one that is turned on for Sims, but just in case, here is the other one--I am set to use the most powerful one, but I can never remember for sure which one it is:
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
Type: GPU
Bus: PCI
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
So anyway, when this world is finished, I will try loading it up and at least give you feedback on how my Mac is able to handle it. If my Mac can handle the world reasonably well, then I will try to do the more standard testing of routing, lots, careers, etc.
This does look beautiful and I wish you so much good luck on it! I love what you did with EA's buildings and your own lots are gorgeous. I love what you did with the diner, adding that matching gas station!
