@misteemiles - I could use as many testers as possible. The more testers, the easier it will be to spot potential issues.
Small update today.
I finished with the appartments, with a studio apartment building.
It's located at the same spot with the other three I showed you before, so I tried to use a similar color sheme.
This one however also sports a pool :)
Interiors
I started with the starter area today , but I got kinda blocked. So I only have one.
This one is about 12k, and it's on a 15x15 lot that costs 200 simoleans. 5 of these will be filling Privet Drive road.
After I build that and placed the instances, I started on the next set of starters that are on 20x20 lots that cost 400 simoleans each. This will be a set of 6 identical starters.
However that is when i got blocked :( I couldn't for the life of me fit a parcking spot and a backyard and at the same time have the house and roof shapes look normal and decent.
I went through the prosess of building walls and roofs and tearing them down for about a gazillion times. I went through that for several hours until my GC started complaining for some reason ( the fan is still running wild, I might lower the heating in here) and the game started crashing on me whenever i tried to exit to the main menu.
I even tried to load my old world and take a sneak peek at the starters therem but then I remembered that currently I have nothing installed besides the stuff i'm using for Crystalline Cove.
At some point I actually unburried my Sims 2 NL Prima Guide to check on house plans ,as it had a few starters that had a parking spot and a backyard fitted nicely in small lots, but I realised that even those looked horrible.
Well I guess I'll get a brain wave next time.
I'm leaving tomorrow for a week, so no updates untill next Sunday (Jan 29th). I will be working for the world though :P I'll take my notebook with me and work on house plans and Sims that I would like to include in the save file.
