I only got to play most of one sim day and sent my sim to learn fishing, cooking (at diner) and handiness at military and painting skill. Those went well but I had a hard freeze at Radioactive. Here is an actual picture of the freeze, what the sim was doing:
I had reinstalled my The Sims3 folder prior to loading in this world so I don't think I brought over any old problems from previous games. I'm not sure what happened. I am having some issues with textures loading a little bit slow but I kind of expected that could happen in a world of this size and with so much detail.
I currently have only my active sim in the world, Story Progression set to ON. My sim is in the Owl House in Canyon Pass. It's really lovely considering it is one of the simpler homes available. I am very impressed with how this world looks. I went to the consignment store just prior to going to Radioactive and was amazed at the styling of the building. It looks so nice with Town Life themed rabbit holes. In fact at first I thought it was the Town Life grocery for a moment.
