Ok I'm on IPad right now so please pardon any typos or awkward writing. I went back to my early save where I had just loaded the sim in to her new house. So I am working with the same sim after all. This time her sim day is going well. She took a couple of classes but did not visit any clubs.

She is in The Owl House of 14 Canyon Road.

Needed Fix to 14 canyon Road is the bedroom with the full sized bed and the bedroom next to it are missing paint on one of the walls.
