I've just played Great Bear for two and a half sim days with no problem...and this time I did not add my family I'd been playing a long time, the doctor named Gavin who lives with Pink Dhayz and her daughter. I suspect that household had become corrupted because my freezes and hangs in Great Bear seemed to always come after I was adding families to Great Bear and previously they were included but not this time. So tomorrow I will try to play in CrCove again and add all my usual sims that work okay for me in Great Bear but omit that family.
Let's hope this is the cause of my problems as omitting them from the town is an easy solution!
