Hi WR, Gavin was a EA sim who lived in a house in Appaloosa Plains...unless he was from Hidden Springs...come to think of it I can't remember for sure without going into the game but I think it was AP. I changed his facial features and traits using Testing Cheats Enabled True and shift clicking on him. I also cloned a version of him using that method of taking him back into CAS but I no longer have him in Saved Sims. I think I just didn't bother copying him over. He was working very well for me in his native world, until I made a ton of progress in his life and had moved in and out a series of roommates and then I noticed Castle Canyon started glitching a lot. Since then I think every time I got around to placing him into Great Bear I got some freezes. I feel very slow to not have made the mental connection between him and the game going wonky but with so many other Mac owners complaining if hard freezes and crashes I thought it was something else entirely.
I am running on Mac OS. I don't have Windows installed...yet. If it turns out to NOT be Gavin as the source of my woes then I may switch to Windows on my Mac.
