1. This is a Sims 3 only gift exchange ~ no Sims 4 gifts allowed.
2. Join this gift exchange by posting a letter (see the next post for the form letter that must be used!).
3. No custom content is allowed. All gifts will be custard checked, no exceptions.

4. Keep your Buddy Name a secret once you receive your name via private message. No names will be posted to the Sims 3 My Pages nor will they be emailed.
5. Follow the check-in dates!
6. You must make at least one homemade gift for your Buddy. This can be a build, pet or sim. This is not something that is bought from the Sims 3 store. You may make as many gifts as you like. You may also gift from your Buddy’s wishlist (not required!) as long as there is one homemade gift as well.
7. You must make a gifting thread for your Buddy! The thread should contain a personalized message to your Buddy, screenshots of your gift and a link to your uploaded item. If your gift is picture heavy, then you might want to consider using an outside photo album such as Photobucket.
8. When a gift is being given, please post a message in the main thread! This message should include your Buddy name, gift number (very helpful to Buddy & host!) as well as a link to the thread. If you want to include a sneak peek picture in the main thread post, please feel free to do so.
9. You must gift and be gifted. This is a gift exchange and every Buddy should receive a homemade gift.
10. Please remember that what is written in your Buddy letter is a guide, don’t get upset if your gift isn’t exactly what you wanted. Also please don’t stress about not being able to make exactly what was suggested in the Buddy letter that you’ve been assigned. Do your best and have fun! The focus has always been about sharing our love of simming with friends ~ new and current!!!
11. No rude or mean behavior will be tolerated. If seen, I will remove you at my discretion. We are here to have fun and enjoy one another’s company!
12. Do not sign up if you can’t follow through! Pay careful attention to rules 13 and 17!!!
13. If anything comes up (ex: personal, computer problems, etc.), please let me know ASAP so arrangements can be made and your Buddy gets a gift. This gift does not exempt you from your requirement of making at least one homemade gift. Depending upon the circumstances, you might or might not be allowed to participate in the next gift exchange.
14. If you get a new store item or addition to your game, please edit your Buddy letter and post in the thread that you have made changes. Those items might or might not be used in your gift, but the more details you provide will help the gift become truly personalized!
15. Please check the main thread often in case there is anything you need to know or to see if your Buddy has posted a gift for you!
16. Please do not quote images as it tends to break threads. If quoting, please remove the image before commenting.
17. If you had signed up for a previous gift exchange and didn’t give a homemade gift, you will not be paired up in this exchange. Sorry, no exceptions!
18. If you download or add a gift (any gift!) to your favorites list, please press Recommend It.
19. Each Buddy took time and effort to make their gift so please take the time to compliment their creations. Your kind words will be a gift to them!
20. Have fun!!! Try making something that is new-to-you and you’ll discover that you’re better at it than you think you are.
