I have installed the following Expansion Packs: All of them
I have installed the following Stuff Packs: Everything except KPST
I own the following Store Content: Everything
I own the following EA-made Worlds: Everything
Some of my favorite colors are: My favorite color in general is purple (all shades!) but in houses I tend to gravitate more towards blues/greens/earth tones. Most colors I enjoy as long as they suit what you're using them for, though!
I really don’t like this color: Not a fan of pink, generally speaking. And I'm not crazy about orange. Unless you're doing a fall theme or something southwestern, or specific circumstances like that. ;)
I love to use items from this set: I use some of everything for the most part, but some of my favorites include: the nautical stuff, jazz age/New Orleans sets, bohemian sets, Gothic glamor, and the Edwardian stuff.
I prefer to play in this EA-made World: I tend to rotate depending on what I'm in the mood for, but my *favorite* EA worlds (in no particular order) are Dragon Valley, Roaring Heights, Lucky Palms, and probably a tie between Midnight Hollow and Aurora Skies. All depends on what I'm in the mood for though, since I've been working on totally redoing from scratch Hidden Springs and Barnacle Bay. I'll probably do that with all the EA worlds eventually, though!
I enjoy this style of build the most: I like builds that suit the world they're built for, but some that I've always loved are Victorian, Craftsman, Mediterranean, French Country, old Key West, and that fascinating blend of styles that is typical of New Orleans houses.
I really don’t want this in my game: I'd prefer no pets and no huge families. Pets are too much upkeep and tend to cause glitches in my game, so I rarely use them at all, and 8 sims is just crazy chaotic, lol. Smaller families (say, 5 or less) are great, as are single sims! Also not a fan of the bots...they can't reproduce, so they're kinda useless to my legacy families!
I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: I try to avoid the huge lots, just because there are so few places in game to place them! If you really need the space for whatever you're creating, it's fine, though! But generally speaking 40x40 or smaller is best!
I want/don’t want berry sims: I prefer my berry sims to also be the less human supernatural sims (fairies, genies, plant sims, aliens, possibly mermaids) and my regular sims/more human occults to be more natural colored (witches, werewolves, vampires)
I want/don’t want occult sims: Love the occults! I tend to play witches and aliens most, but I love them all! Well, maybe not mummies and zombies, but the rest of them are great!
I want/don’t want pets in the household: Prefer no pets, they tend to glitch more than just about anything else in my games.
Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? If you feel like skilling them up, go for it! If not, that's fine too! If you wanted to send them to university and give them degrees, I'm totally ok with that too!
Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? Again, whatever you feel like is fine by me!
Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? My sims tend to do a lot of cooking/gardening/artistic stuff, so those things are always great. But I don't have any really strong preferences here, I try to use everything some, so I rotate which skills my sims focus on!
Other: I mentioned earlier that I've been rebuilding a few of the EA worlds, and more community lots are always great, since those are such a hassle to constantly be remaking! Things that combine rabbit holes are also fantastic, since most of the store worlds tend to really need some editing in that department, to make room for all the expansion lots! (Clubs, consignment stores, fire stations, etc....so much to add, not enough lots!) Speaking of expansion lots...I always love more of those for different worlds! I also love houses to replace all the silly 1 bedroom mansions EA likes to add to their worlds. And since I usually play legacy style (don't always follow the rules exactly and I don't keep score, but I play without cheats and start from scratch with nothing) single sims and small families to give my worlds interesting gene pools are always nice! If you wanted to build me a legacy starter home, that would be awesome too...sometimes it's nice to not have to build another little shack for my sim and just jump right into playing. ;) I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with, though! Go to town with your imagination, I always love to see what people come up with!
Really excited for another gift exchange! So much creativity!
