I had a problem where my keyboard quit working on me earlier. Somehow there was a windows keyboard enabler that I needed to activate after it got disabled. I searched the internet for the issue.
I had to UNCHECK the Turn On Filter Keys under Ease of Access on the control panel. It's under making the keyboard easier to use for me. I went and bought a new keyboard thinking mine was dead, but no!
Hubby's keyboard had quit working for him earlier and I thought it was just time. But it turns out hubby's keyboard still worked when I hooked it up to old computer. So maybe the same thing happened.
