I had to UNCHECK the Turn On Filter Keys under Ease of Access on the control panel. It's under making the keyboard easier to use for me. I went and bought a new keyboard thinking mine was dead, but no!
Hubby's keyboard had quit working for him earlier and I thought it was just time. But it turns out hubby's keyboard still worked when I hooked it up to old computer. So maybe the same thing happened.
I think mine was more a usb port that went bad, but very frustrating either way! I'm using hubby's old one (which is fine, it's backlit and all, but it's not my super awesome backlit mechanical gaming keyboard :( ) But at least we have a backup! (that's my packrat tendencies kicking in...I totally get it from my mom, who got it from her mom, who lived through the Great Depression :lol: )
Have something at 8, but hoping to get in some game time after that!
