Thanks DutchySim. I`ve been searching out images of certain buildings (mostly log cabins, mountain lodges etc) for inspiration. You would think a log cabin is just a log cabin, but how do you make the interior of a log cabin remotely interesting. I don`t mean that in a bad way, just that, logs are always going to be logs. I suppose that`s where furniture colours and design come into play. I think? :?
Thank you Lee. I`ve tried to make the campsite a home from home for the sims who may hang out there. I`m thinking of releasing a version of Great Bear with the campsite designated as a hangout, and another version designated as Base Camp for those who use the Twallan`s traveller mod. One thing I`m real pleased about (so far) is that I`m seeing tourists about town. I`ve never seen any tourists in any previous world I have created. It`s kinda cool.

You know, I`m still not too sure about the Pets lots scenario, I reckon (seeing as I`ll still be working on Great Bear after the release of Pets) that I`ll check out how EA have handled the equestrian, dogs and cats lots first then create and design the lots myself. I think? I never say never, or do I, or maybe I don`t? :? But seriously, you are very, very kind to offer help me create the lots after Pets comes out. I have quite a few different sized lots about town, a few 30x40s, 40x40s, and a spare couple of possible community lot designated 64x64 lots. There are many 30x30s and 20x30s. I think I can change a few lot sizes to suit the needs of Pets when I know what I need to change or adapt. I guess working away on residential lots will take me up to Pets release and we`ll all know what will be needed as regards lot sizes etc. I`ve kinda lost track of all the information that`s been leaking out about Pets.
Did that sound like utter nonsense or was it manageable? I can`t tell anymore? :?
