I`m having to rework a few lots, seeing as spiral staircases don`t seem to work in the same way they did before Pets. In some cases, I will have to remove them and add normal stairs as some lots simply can`t be changed without rebuilding the entire lot from scratch. It now seems there must be at least a tile`s space between the spiral staircase and any walls, and that the spiral staircase must face a certain way. An unwanted hassle.
I wish EA would also mention the things they break along with the things they fix when a new patch or EP is released. Urgh!
I'm going to quote myself because I'm lazy ;)
The method that I found works is to copy these lots from within the game to the bin. Then within EIG place those buildings and don't touch them anymore.
However, it seems that when you go back into EIG at a later time (Even without editing those lots, or any lots at all) they start bugging out again.
That applies to the spiral staircases.
