Johnnywr, I just bought an iPad and am just getting started in exploring how awesome it is. Just had to throw that in there, lol!
In the days before all the magic connectivity that we have now, my parents' insurance company used to give them a US Rand McNally atlas every few years. I can remember sitting on the sofa as a tween/teen and just looking at different state maps. My Dad would pass by and ask me; 'Where you going?' And I would sheepishly answer 'no where, I'm just looking.' :lol:
Later I can remember buying a small book atlas that included different countries of the world. It was just facinating to me. Shoot, one of the first apps I downloaded for my iPad was the National Geographic World Atlas, so I guess I should admit that I still love looking at maps. :mrgreen:
