Okay, yesterday was a bit of a right-off...you know, a bit of a day after the night before kind of thing. Feeling better today, though.
Reg, that`s really odd about those spiral staircases, they function fine in my game. I don`t know if you remember I posted a thread a wee while back, mentioning how I`d found a post made by a simmer who had found a solution to the problem where sims could go up those stairs but not come down? The solution was to remove the fences from two sides at the top (or remove fencing completely).
I don`t know why your sims couldn`t use those stairs at the gym and at Curfew?
I seem to remember Pyronium having a similar issue with the spiral staircase at one of his clubs in Setra. Basically, some people had issues and some did not. I personally didn`t experience any issues with those stairs.
Odd, very odd indeed.
Still, apart from that glad you are enjoying GB, and on a personal note, I hope playing GB takes your mind of other things. It makes me happy to think playing GB takes you away from real life *hugs*
Summersong, your very generous praise for GB (and cool pics) make me happy. Thank you. I think Elle0808 is very happy too, thanks to you
Tangie, thanks for mentioning that darned laundry basket. You know, how many times in a lifetime do you get the chance to say that. At least it`s not a deal breaker. I hope you deleted it with an evil grin on your face and with accompanying maniacal laughter? You show that darned laundry basket you`re the boss!
I`m loving your pics too, Tangie. Please don`t feel your are spamming...I love to see GB from other perspectives. It`s almost like seeing a different world, one that I had nothing to do with in it`s creation.I love that notion
By the way, Tangie, I went back into CAW and removed that laundry basket. I will upload the Great Bear Lodge laundry basket free version of Great Bear to the front page (basically, updated the Mediafire link to the Campsite as Hangout version)
You don`t need to download the "new" version; all that`s changed is a certain missing laundry basket.
Ouerbacker, I`ve said it before and I`ll say it again, you are a CAW master, I adore your terrain painting and lots. So, a compliment coming from you, really means a lot. Thank you.
Thanks, MichelleBrujah. Hope GB works out for you.
Gem, I`m holding off placing (or trying to place) GB on the exchange until I know for sure which version to put on the exchange. I may try it out soon though. I wish you all the best with Crystalline Cove (it`s scary stuff this CAW business, isn`t it?), and hope you enjoy GB whenever you get around to playing it.
By the way, my niece is going on holiday to Greece in May, it`s her first trip abroad, so we`ve all been chipping in to help raise some Euros for her to spend over there. She is really looking forward to it.
So, if you see a wee Scottish lassie running about with a lobster tan, say hello
Thanks everybody for your kind words. I am CAW-ed out again.
Can I just say, I took the plunge and installed Twallen`s Story Progression and Overwatch. I was really nervous about it, but it`s fabulous. I love it. It really brings Great Bear to life. I`m having a ball just playing again
