Oh man I have been trying to set up in Great Bear all day. By that I mean I got the new editions and was happily adding a few houses and some families. I kept running into problems with the game hanging (as it sometimes does with any world) when I added houses or families. So it was a slow process, but I finally got down to filling up with families when I noticed that story progression had added a stylist to a house. Nothing unusual about that except he had two horses for his small suburban lot! I found I had no option to evict this family and move them to a lot with acommodations for horses.
So I selected his household and found out there was a foal named Bubo stuck in a lot I'd just placed--Scenic Log home by Tangie. He was inside the house somewhere and upset because he has no mother. I had to reset Sim to get him out of there.
Then there was another adult horse in that household stuck somewhere else.
Poor Bubo! He is in a bad mood not having a mother. I found I could not deal with him and now I realize I don't ever want to play households with horses in the game, especially not motherless foals. So I decided to abandon the entire game.
I'll start over tonight with a brand new town and this time I will place all the families without letting one sim day go with EA story progression moving in stylists If some of my favorite sims end up at the registers, so be it.
I can not believe EA story progression placed a man with 2 horses into a suburban house and worse yet, let the horses get stuck around town. Horses are glitch magnets.
Sorry for my rant on Bubo. I just never saw such a silly thing in my life as what story progression did to me. Thanks a bunch EA!
P.S> ON a positive note, that stylist is one good looking fellow. I saved him for future use! But I did not save Bubo! Poor Bubo. Most depressing character, ever!
