I think if you have a lot of bookworms or other traits that tend to make sims artistic and bookish, you will not have as many people in your bars. When I was reading about the different types of clubs and bars you could have in the game, I read that sims with certain traits will avoid some bars and clubs, but go for the fancy lounges. So anyway now I understand why sometimes my town seemed empty. So many of my sims are bookworms. I didn't make enough party animals and athletes!
You know, I don`t think I have a single sim with the bookworm trait. I became aware of the consequences early on regards the bookworm trait. I only give that trait to sims if I want them to pursue a writer`s career of some sort. I would say about a third of my sims have the Party Animal trait. I don`t really like that trait much; too much waking up and straight into boogie on down mode before breakfast :?
As the Bee Gees once sung "What you doing in your bed, you should be dancing...yeah!"
One of my sims was recently married and threw a bachelor party, it was fun and went on way into the next day. There were three sim friends who just played computer games whilst another just danced non-stop for about eight sim hours. I think they all had the Party animal trait. It was a very bachelor party moment.
I kind of naturally avoid traits like Snob and some of the Celebrity related traits (I can`t be bothered with snobs or anything celebrity related), and there isn`t an exclusive lounge in Great Bear, so I`m hoping once the population increases, I will start to see yet a few more faces "down the pub"
KimSim1965, thank you. I hope you like playing in Great Bear :-)
