Johnny, I found the problem. Remember how I recently said that I had migrated to Origin to be able to use CAW? Well, it seems that Origin Digital downloads also are not very appreciative of CAW, but unlike Steam, Origin doesn't like the CAW worlds. It has no qualms with CAW though.
Steam, by the way it handles the game installs, make it so CAW doesn't see the Sims 3 installed. (Lots of shenanigans in the Register, I won't bore you.) However, for Steam, CAW worlds are just that, another map to play on.
The short and sweet? Origin won't close my down with select CAW-maps. Steam doesn't care.
If I were to hazard a guess, it's all in the register and in the way the two different services handle the installs. I have migrated back to Steam and have played an entire day without so much as a hiccup. Hiccups are however the bread and butter of Origin.
At any rate, the problem isn't in Great Bear. I thought you would like to know that ^.^
