Korva, no problem. I actually like to hear how simmers have changed things around in their version of Great Bear. So, I hope you have fun changing the lots to your taste.
Regards Story Progression; well, I`ve only been using it since after I finished Great Bear, I love it now. I think you can alter immigrations settings under Immigration. You can set it to allow a higher number of townies to move into town, so that your town populates faster if you so wish. It shouldn`t take too long, by the end of a sim week you should have a fair few townie families moving in town.
I prefer using my own sims, so I have set immigration to zero (except for bouncers, consignment store etc), I also use Twallan`s Register mod :wink:
