It`s really good to see you here, and posting again. I`m hoping you won`t stray too far. It`s been odd not seeing you around and...yes, we missed you terribly.
Thanks for having a look at Great Bear and for the rec too.
I mentioned you in the "credits" for GB as you`ve always been helpful and supportive, and not just to me. I think you fully deserve that big thank you.
I`m playing Showtime in GB and thought about adding the SHT venue lots, but I really, really can`t abide those palm trees, they look so out of place in a mountain town. So, I turned Studio84 from a Dance club into a Live Show venue and added the 8x7 stage and a decent sized crowd area (I had to enlarge the upstairs stage area to accommodate the 8x7 stage, without using MOO at any point). My sim singer is now getting gigs there after auditioning to the proprietor. It`s not ideal, and I might try adding maybe a trio of the more important SHT venues to GB at a later stage.
I`m just playing the game at the moment. I spent eight months on GB and never really played during that time, so it`s just nice to be able to play.
I`ve also taken the plunge and installed some of Twallan`s mods (Story progression, Story progression extra, Register and Overwatch). I love them. I`m not used to having to be careful when patching etc (at least regards mods), but I`m getting used to them now and I`ve learned to be very careful. Still not a CC user though, I can live without that to be honest. It`s too much hassle if you are a CAW user.
Talking of CAW...well, I`m just playing at the moment. GB took it`s time and I really do get CAW weariness towards the end of working on a world (building those lots was a nightmare). I might go back into CAW soon, but really, I don`t know. If my signature changes...well, you`ll know something`s happening behind the scenes :wink:
