Hi. The basecamp version is for those who use the Traveler mod. The hangout version has the campsite designated as a hangout instead of basecamp. I offered simmers the option of downloading from the exchange or from mediafire. If you don`t want the basecamp version, I would suggest downloading using the exchange link. There is more information on the first page of this thread :-)
