Hi Johnny!
Glad that your testing is going well. Now that I have finished testing Gem's update and all is well, I'm looking forward to GB. You might want to read through from where you last looked. Wrong, or right, I think the one time I encountered a problem with the venues performing might have been due to an MC setting, although I can't be positive. All I know now is that the updated world is functioning perfectly and it's fun to have some custom Showtime venues.
Of course, should you opt to just have lots for those venues and have players place them, I'm fine with that, too. Whatever you feel most comfortable with doing is fine with me and I'm sure everyone else, too.
I see what you mean by the cul-de-sac type ending of the street combined with no routing paint might effect how carpools behave. I guess we'll just need to get that athletic skill up so a sim living on the street will run fast.
I'm not concerned, btw, with LN and Showtime lots being in the same world. I was experiencing horrible lag in Starlight Shores that virtually disappeared after I added the movie lot; a small apt. house and 2 clubs. Doing what shoud have aggravated the situation had the complete opposite effect. The only stuck sim I've found in SS was trying to walk into one of the planters on the esplanade in the middle of the street. My singer sim couldn't perform his sing-a-gram because I had to reset the target sim to end the madness.
I also vote for the vista. That was such a fluky occurrence and the view from up there is awesome.
Thanks also for checking out the Birchdale addy so carefully. You've gone above and beyond the call of duty. Oh, before I forget, I'm glad you're adding things like the bull and dominoes. For one thing, I, too, thought a rodeo cow would be the perfect addition to Grizzly Joe's. The dominoes and wedding arch get a big thumbs up, too!
