You know, call me old fashioned, but I`ve never simported :?
It just doesn`t tickle my fancy at all. So, DD, when I saw the pics of your floating sim, I instantly thought "What have I gone and done?". Yes, I had a moment.
That is odd, DD. I mean, I wouldn`t know what to say to you seeing as I have never simported, but it sure looks pretty though. Maybe that was part of her act? :lol:
Tangie, I`m quite relieved you actually like the fact there are more trees. I was pretty nervous about that one, but yes, I just felt GB needed more trees (and perhaps more cowbell?) :D
I think the tree shrub is my favourite item of flora, it covers a myriad of sins and nicely breaks up the near horizon. I preferred the tree shrub to the buckthorn as the larger buckthorn tree shrubs looked too bright for GB (although I used buckthorn on some lots).
Oh yeah, the Hoi Polloi venue...tell me about it. I think that was the most fitting of the large venues for GB. As you can see, it is shoved out of the way in that corner of GB, surrounded by trees to disguise it`s hideousness. It almost looks nice at night though...from a distance.
I`m also a bit relieved you have already witnessed a Simfest in town.
DD, that`s very kind of you to mention the cabin resort in such glowing terms. I did change it just a wee bitty, and glad you are enjoying it. No problems with those wee starter homes, I`m just glad you have a use for them. I like my starters to come with at least two bedrooms. You never know when your sims might hear the patter of tiny feet...oh, I didn`t mean that as in a rat infestation :?
