Can I just say that this world, after downloading it last night and having a right oul peek, it's one of the best I've seen in a long time.
Every single lot in Grey Meadow is detailed to perfection. No lot is just thrown in there for the sake of making up space (I'm most certainly guilty of that). Your lots are just absolutely stunning, and not just those spectacular skyscrapers. Every lot, whatever it is, is just flawless. Like, even the pool, THE POOL, is a grand victorian building which I initially thought was some elaborate castle of some sort. But no. And your making of the skyscrapers is genius ... I mean, even the wallpaints that look like windows. I've seen that done before, but the way you do it, they LOOK like windows. EA should learn a thing or two from you, Hogs. Their shells and just pure muck to your magnificent creations in this fantastic world.
I'm into worlds that have character, are prepopulated with a story, and Grey Meadow just ticks those boxes. Even your sims equal the lots. I loved reading the bios and family descriptions. You can clearly see that everyone's house IS their house. And they were not just thrown into a house despite the number of sims in the household. I love how there are, seemingly, 3 disctricts; the Downtown area, the Industrial area and the Old Town area (where the funeral home is). They all connect together so well. Everything works. And that's what I like. I like how the architecture is continuous throughout the world; it's a kind of Victorian/spooky theme, to me anyway.
And y'know what, it makes me mad that this world isn't getting the recognition that it does indeed deserve. It is such a beauty visually. I envy your skill at CAW, and building and whatever else was needed to make Grey Meadows. This is one that is definitely gonna stay in my launcher for a long, long time.
