Today I tried out Grey Meadow (updated version) and I'm really loving it. It's my first time playing a custom created world and well, it's easier just to pretty much ditto everything Connorsim said. heh
I do have one question though. In the family I chose to start playing with, the teen and child are both missing their homework. I assumed it would generate on Monday when they first attend school, but it didn't. Now it is just a little annoyance because I can always get them to "work on late homework" while they're at school, but I'd rather have them be meeting new friends during school time. I tried moving the teen out with her father to see if it would reset the homework into her inventory, but it didn't. Not sure if you have any ideas, but I'd love to hear them if you do.
