Me again, I'm afraid. This time I started a fresh game with a Sim of mine from the bin, placed him in an empty house (the slim tower building up the hill), used a mod to reset the whole world and made his needs static via cheats. In the course of one Sim day I sent him to as many places as possible to test his routing.
The main thing I've noticed is that more than once his routing went through fences as soon as he arrived on a lot, he did that, for example, when leaving the gym and at the Beach with the arcade machines
I don't know why he does that, but he occasionally acts as if he was under a moveobjects spell, so-to-speak, sometimes simply ignoring obstacles or building structures like stairs and mounts these as if walking on bare ground.
This was most noticeable when he visited the Swim Club. He did not mount the stairs properly but ran up part of the hill and entered the staircase in front of the building sideways - which shold be impossible. When I ordered him to go back to the street he ran down the stairs, meaning he did not use them but ran over them as if they weren't there. Telling him to "use the stairs" works, but clicking on the ground and telling him to run there again makes him run down the hill as if the stairs didn't exist.
I also noticed that Grey Meadows is so far the slowest world I have tried when it comes to generating mixologists and bouncers and other roled Sims, but this might be due to the size of the world, the numbers of roles to be filled (I counted 12 bouncers and 12 mixologists) and the lack of a pool of homeless.
I had to stop there, because I then went through the hassle of patching my game up to 1.24, but I will try other things later today.
I hope that you don't get me wrong. This is not to criticise your work. On the contrary. I am so excited to play this superb world. If I wasn't I wouldn't bother to report these things.
