Okay, thank you for all of your help, Snapdragon. I think I have everything fixed except the tears on the beach house and the relationship problem. I used conform edges on the beach lot and I found no changes in the actual lot. I could only see said tears in the elevation from a far off perspective anyway, so I don't think that error should pose a major threat to the quality of the world. The only way I can see as to fixing the relationship error is to have everyone meet one another, which is way too tedious and not worth solving such an insignificant problem (it also makes it more difficult for me to save the world). Also, the problem with the strobe lights brought me to a solution with one of my tombs, where Sims could not backtrack properly because I placed fluorescent tubes above some of the doors, so I just killed two birds with one stone.
For your questions:
Some tombs are connected via dive well.
The hole in the marina is decorative, for the most part, but I also made it for quick transportation between lots if the players decide to name it (I also put a hole by the science lab).
I had to disable the nectar tasting racks on the hotel lot because they were constantly walking from the racks to the restaurant in order to drink, which I found annoying, but Sims seem to be adamant when it comes to seating priorities
The hole, however, has no option for travel, all I can do is fill it. One would probably have to dig again in order to name it.
I also managed to get 35 NPCs into the game to fill the roles, 30 Igors and 5 Ivanas. Nice.
My freeze problem has also been solved, some issue with motorcycles and a mod.
And after one Sim week I can definitely say that this world is...special. I'm glad that you made it.
ETA: Sorry, forgot to add one thing: During my play I found items from Fast Lane and Outdoor Living Stuff Packs. You might want to add these together with the EP requirements in your description. I know, in theory any missing item should be replaced in-game with base game equivalents, but firstly, one would miss a lot of this world's aesthetic roundedness and, secondly, this replacement is not error-free. I already had one world crash constantly until I installed the missing SP and I blame the missing CAS items mainly.
