Yay, WW--so glad to see you here even if you're not able to help it's just a comforting thing to know you read the thread. I figured if I was stating something blatantly wrong you'd catch it. As I am only writing what I observe and can guess at, nothing is truly known by me.
I started a fresh version of the town. I have noted in this town, as in the previous one...stutters occuring around the time of very late night that the paparrazi starts stalking my celebrity vampire's house. It takes her a long time to actually come in. I can see her on the horizon as she appears at the road where my 20 Landing Crater house is located. She is actually somewhere between 20 Landing Crater and the next lot on that street. I didn't see her enter my property because she sneaked around while my sims were playing musical instruments and I was working on them.
There were big delays when my sim tried to talk to her once she got into the house. I don't know if it's pure coincidence, but once she left the property the stutters eased up immediately and then went away all together.
So far in watching the theater, it did not seem that the stutters corresponded to movie showtimes, yet. But this is the first day and it took sims most of the day to appear on that lot.
