Just for the heck of it, I have left that building in Isle of Sims that I set up just to test that building, just to make sure it does not cause some lingering after affects even with it left in there. If it does create havoc, I can at least send a personal email off to one of the head engineer/producers at EA that I actually know. He actually worked on Sims 2 and now works on the console versions of the game - but he can communicate with the Sims 3 engineers perhaps and get that building changed. I highly doubt I will get anywhere if the thing does not do some sort of damage. it is not likely they will change a building that just makes the sims do something unusal, and so far I'm not seeing anything weird in Isle of Sims. I did leave it running while I took my shower and did some chores earlier. Then I checked out a few sims and sent them to a few different places to see if anyone acted odd. I also checked out the 4 sims I have with the film career occupations and they are all as normal as sims can possibly be anyway. So I do not think that building created any rifts, but I plan to leave it there and just let the world play itself for a few days to be sure. Then if I do see anything, I will take it out and replace it like you did in WW. The only thing that worried me is the fact it is tagged improperly for a backlot, as the other two backlots are not tagged like that with the home owners association crap. This is why I am watching it.
When you removed the Movie lot did you notice anything weird with the empty lot? I think I remember you saying something about it... Maybe not.
Once I removed the lot in game it left the blue hole- which does usually means corrupt CC or a corrupt lot.
It's why I went back to an earlier save to find where the lot was normal before removing it there and continuing on.
I backed it up and started again. It was fine and then it wasn't.
