Just a quick post to let you know that I was able to play for 8 sim days today without a single stutter. When I first went back to try it after fixing the area on the corner of the platform in Lunar Park, I managed 3 sim days of play but then the stutters returned.
After pausing earlier today to look around different locations, I saw an inactive sim throwing route fail in the same area even though I had not had any trouble with an active sim exiting after leveling the terrain. I noticed on the back of the platform you had a single step on each side so I added another step towards the front before the half wall segment. After doing that, I was able to go the 8 days before I had to quit without any stutters.
The odd thing I am noticing, though, is that the paper shows a family moving away almost daily and the game engine has killed off the toddlers in town. I can't seem to get a stable population. There are primarily adults or elders now, no toddlers, children or even teens and I don't know why. I do have story progression on. I'm wondering if it reflects a need for more housing. Perhaps a certain quota of homes has to be free for moves or something but I just don't know for sure. I'm so used to your worlds filling up quickly and being easy to establish. Hence, I'm perplexed as to what is different with MBC.
