It looks pretty. Apartments suit this world, well. Makes it look like a thriving space port. Though I wish we could get round cylindrical shaped skyscrapers, too.
I still have MBC installed but haven't played in it since I last posted I was putting it aside. I really could not find any "smoking gun" as all the things I thought might be the cause of problems appear also in other worlds and don't do anything amiss to those other worlds. I have been playing Matkooskee solidly this week and noted Johnny's dance club doesn't get any patrons, either, other than the paparrazi and the sims I send there. He gets some in his dive bars, but not the dance club. I know his world works solidly despite my game spawning cars like crazy. So the phenomenon we saw in MBC of no patrons in the clubs does not seem to be something you did or didn't do. It's a whole game issue and may be related to population density or some weird thing we have no way of knowing and EA ain't saying.
The theory DD has about there not being enough housing to sustain a sufficient population and therefore killing off toddlers rings a bell about the conversation WR was having in another thread with Prof Plumbbob and others about the game killing off children and toddlers to make room for adults and elders under certain circumstances. So we can theorize there's something in MBC that is triggering this mechanism in the game. I would point the finger at there possibly being too few houses. But there are small worlds out there--I don't generally play small maps anymore. So I can't say--but does anyone who plays small maps notice toddlers and children dying off? I would assume the small worlds with limited housing would show this same problem if it's a matter of there not being enough houses. In many ways this world is a small world despite being on a large map.
At any rate I'll make myself available to test the new version when it's out. I don't any longer think there was anything you did wrong or overlooked, I think something just went wonky in it. Your WW plays fine and so do your other worlds so we KNOW you know how to make a good functioning world. Something just went bad in here and I don't expect to see it in the new version. If we run into the same problems THEN we can think something needs tweaking in the layout or the amenities. But I honestly can't see how MBC is that far different from your other builds that work fine, so I don't think it's a build issue but a gremlin gumming up the works.
