The new buildings look amazing, RFLong7. Is there no limit to your imagination? I never would have thought to use the roofing tool to make those scoop like attachments to the building that you did. Amazing. Words don't do it justice! I love steampunk. I actually once got a catalogue from a store called Restoration Hardware that had steampunk-ish home decor. Unfortunately the prices of things were beyond my humble budget. I'll have to stick to country kitsch that I get at craft fairs.
I saw some patterns used that look like some of the same HELS patterns I used the latest house I built for MBC. I wish patterns would transfer freely. They ought to, since EA didn't build in any coding to let us be able to discern what patterns are from which EP or SP. It makes me crazy!
You know...I'm not touching that ridiculous topic about the 500 lots or whatever it was. Pescado settled that **** on MATY quite some time ago. WR has observed it firsthand and we know how much time WR logs playing the game and putting it through its paces. It's just a known fact, jack. I can't understand anyone questioning it at this point. That's how the game works. The question is--what other iterations and nuances of the phenomenon exist. Obviously MBC has its own flavor of the phenomenon.
EDIT: Okay I went back and read that crazy 500 lot thread. Okay I can see how and why Prof. Plumbob questions it. I still think he missed the discussion where the game kills off the young'uns and leaves ghost towns. Why it doesn't do that on his one town he has that has a huge pop, well I can't say. I don't know his playing style. Everyone can get away with almost anything in their sim towns once in a while. I get away with all kinds of stuff with SP and aging turned off that blows up in my face the moment I turn it all back on. I wouldn't personally have the confidence to declare all contrary arguments null and void based on my observations of one single town in my inventory. I think Prof. goes out on a perilous limb doing that. I think he's just been lucky. I know and have read too many ghost town stories to doubt WR's side of the argument.
