right. If she tried to make the move autonomously, she couldn't. But if I told her to move to the space in front of the solar panel, she was then able to interact with the solar panel. She could 'view' it once off the public lot, but could not path to it from on the lot. Strange.
So far so good otherwise now, but I have been busy doing other things and just let the game run on its own, only attending to pop up requests for things, opportunities, etc.
I will have more time tonight to do some one-on-one play / movement stuff.
Edit: she's still doing it - I have no idea why she's so obsessed with those solar panels, but everytime she comes out of the sports arena from her job, she stands there footstomping for about an hour sims-time. She turns back and forth from one direction (of nearest panel) to the other at the other end of the block. I just let her go to see if she'd stay stuck but she finally gave up after about 6 tries and went home.
Edit #2: Idea: what if there's another solar panel next to the lights in front of the sports arena? Maybe she'll be attracted to that instead of the ones she can't path to... just a thought. May try that to experiment.
I agree with you the lights and solar panels look great where they are and cast a nice world glow... its just those silly solar panels causing her to freak out.
