Is the exchange just having problems with uploading, as I had no problem downloading HS3's 2nd generation sims earlier.. But I know a lot of people were complaining on the tech board yesterday and this morning about it. I thought they were just all having a bad day. The only trouble I have had besides dear pain in the you know what Liam is trying to check the overhead banner for updates - which I should know there aren't any as the Sims team is probably still on holiday vacation, but I never say never. Everytime I try to check I get either the down for maintenance or a 404 - it6's not there kind of error. Don't know about tonight though as I stayed with MBC straight thru. We had microwave reheated left overs at our desks for supper as Pete was playing WOW and watching football. So I was more or less glued to this world for a good 10 hours. Hey I did build one thing under the dome, as the dome house I have is one of the small ones, and I had to add a nursery, so I basically just extended the wall off the living room 4 square, and added a wall across. The lot didn't even flicker over it.
But yeah this world is pretty much spot on spectacular if you ask me, as not often can people play those kind of hours in any sims world without some kind of weirdness. I was also happy to discovered the song was caused by my sim. I had totally forgotten I had used that sim for testing Picaroon and would have known had I played her house, but didn't know until she was under my control in my tester sims house. She came loaded with all kinds of artifacts and when I checked her travel panel she had indeed gone to Egypt. I know on that other harddrive I have the original version on the desktop folder and what I think I did was save her to my studio from within Picaroon when I had to switch back to this somewhat smaller Sata drive. As I had placed all my favorite testing sims in my studio so I didn't have to go through what I went through when my former harddrive died on me and have to rebuild all those skills. I don't use the cheats so it takes like for ever. For some odd reason I must have chosen to load her from Picaroon instead of the Build world I now hold my sims on for testing purposes and so I can easily transfer them to my studio when I need to. She is a good testing Sims though and does a lot on her own so I enjoy just placing her in the world and letting her do her own thing, while I control a Newbie. I have several like her.
But anyway, mystery is no mystery, just me being a dodo head.
But yeah, this world plays real nice. Oh also your pigeons finally appeared in both of those parks - The Founders and the Experimental Food one I think they are called. So the pigeons do spawn, it just takes a while.
