Sounds like things are going pretty well. I'll also try to get some testing in of the next version this week.
For the sims in the red, try replacing all the beds with expensive ones to see if that helps.
The Gnubb set: I put one in the park in Longview and never had a bit of trouble with it, the sims used it just fine (and yes it was very popular). Yesterday I was in the mood to play a tropical so I reinstalled Isle of Sims and put one at the pool/beach lot, and darn it they threw the things backwards. I'm going to try to reverse the direction on the thing just to see if that makes any difference!
