Going to help with Delta too - deleting Charlie and downloading now.
You're great to keep up with this, computer acting up and all - I know that frustration. I actually stopped playing TS3 after World Adventures - my machine and graphics card just could not handle it and kept choking / CTD. Hubby built me a new one for early xmas just in time for Late Night so I'm actually just getting back into the game fulltime again with a machine that can actually handle it.
Funny sidenote to that - while researching processor/mobo packages for my new PC - we found a lot of sites rated the processing capabilities (benchmark tests they call it) on running certain games and measuring performance. I found it hilarious Sims 3 was used as a testing tool quite often because its apparently one of the hardest games for a PC to process efficiently so its taxing and a good tool to measure performance. So if your machine is handling everything TS3 throws at it, its doing good! (Hope yours straightens out soon, this project is so close to being done and perfect!) :)
