Well I have had no issues at all other than not finding the Anna, and seeing she didn't exist in the world, then I have had no issue.
I got to say when I couldn't get back on here last night and did not know if there was or wasn't a new version, I decided to go give Mr. C's Simwood a run. It took no time at all to annoy me as he utulized those annoying papparazzi as a hero to save his Vampire tower locked princess and made the bedroom for her unaccessible with a totally borked wall I think was made with Caw object walls which when you hoovered over it, it said floor, and it was a wall that did not line up or allow access to an elevator behind it. Between this sim having a fit and the hoards of papparazzi that kept getting in to where she was and were unable to get out, I nearly pulled my hair out. But the world looks good enough, just don't play in it. I finally just went to edit town and moved the Princess into a regular house, as lets face it papparazzi cannot work as a hero to save a princess as the friendship thing does not go up very easily, never mind the princess getting cooked because she couldn't get inside. Plus all she wants to do is keep reading this one stupid book she has.
I couldn't take but about an hour of this and shut down the pc, and just decided to go back and play with Delta some more. It was like a breath of fresh air and quickly got rid of my anxiety without me needing to take a xanax, as that was how annoyed I was with Simwood.
I advise my fellow testers if you decide to give Alex's Simwood a go, steel your nerves first, as it also has quite a bit of other weirdness with him using world objects in his builds. I also go a two minute freeze after moving out the princess and sending her for a job. I saw nothing that might have caused the freeze, the sim did not give any signal anything was amiss - so I just think in his zeal to force the game to play out a scenario it is not programmed to do, may have been why it froze. It did come out of it on it's own , but I don't like any world that will do that to my pc.
I adore Alex, he's a sweet and well meaning young fellow, and has a great zeal to create wonderful things - I think he could do well in the world of game developement one of these days, but he also needs to learn you at least need mods to alter game play as something needs to tell the program what to do. It's a shame as the world look pretty good - a bit dark - but not bad for the period and has a few sims. Hopefully he'll get those world objects though off that castle and stop trying to make the sims something they are not really capable of.
But like I said going back to Delta was like a breath of fresh air and I enjoyed another 3 plus hours of flawless play in Delta.
Rflong, my sims have a fish on their wall. Is there supposed to be a fish on the Writins wall? Just checking. It did make me LOL though.
