LOL, when I changed to the Dreams house after playing the Madrids, I quickly saw they were unemployed. Actually, doesn't bother me a bit, early points for getting a job wish filled. GW wanted to go into music but DD's wish was Architectural Designer. No way do I want that job, lol. She had to be happy joining the Journalism career. I made the career determination by checking the number of sims in the different careers and professions with MC.
I can't get the magician's motives unstuck, leastwise, so far. Reloading the save didn't do it, so he may just be a glitched sim. I was going to move them into the Simbot house to see if a move helped but they didn't have quite enough money. I ended up just reseting him periodically :lol: Yes, when Tatiana went to the call box there was a list of names that could be rung. He answered with the message of "I'll be right down". I don't know how the game engine determines which NPC's will live in the hidden apts. but he was one of the occupants in that building.
Don't stress over the "used to be a magician." It has to be an EA thing and not the world. I'll go back to that house later and check on him.
Everyone is routing everywhere I send them but I haven't been too many places yet with this restart. No stutters either.
SS86's post is a good reminder of why it is good to have multiple sets of eyes testing a beta world. I did go to the Nectary lot and I didn't notice the sunflower vase embedded in the counter :oops: When I play again later this evening I'll take a sim back and make myself find it :lol:
