Thank you for the gifts, RFLong. I had so much fun testing all versions of this world. It's so unique. As much as I love Mesa Valley, especially doing a SOCL version of it, and as much as I was having fun in Matkooskee, the lure of testing the moon could not be resisted! EA has always given us so much ultra modern attire and textures and vehicles and furniture and at long last we have the perfect setting for all of it. Pary's club also gives the perfect atmosphere, lol, for my futuristic pop band sim girls to party and dance the night away. All the bars and clubs for this world were eye-popping to check out. And happily they had visitors!
I did build a house for this world that I'll test and if it work okay I'll share the link to the upload in my thread. It was to replace my Dome House that had route fail in front of it.
I have a few pictures also to share for this thread. At least I have to share "Luke Skywalker". I don't think he looks like Luke but my daughter does. We're still arguing whether he looks like her Fashion Fairytale Ken or Luke in his black Jedi clothes. (She is slowly getting better, by the way. Going back to school sort of has helped, though that has its own source of stress, to be sure).
Anyway when I'm not so punked out tired, I'll post them. I got to play more in the world last night but have nothing to report other than fun fun fun. I'm really wiped out today because my hubby was up coughing and sneezing and kept me up half the night. Even after I took refuge on the extra bed in my daughter's room I could still hear the poor guy. I don't know how he dragged himself into work this morning. I hope you are feeling better from your own virus. It couldn't have been easy being sick AND working on a whole world. How do you keep track of everything you need to fix and check when your head is stuffed? Amazing!
Congratulations in perservering and resurrecting this special world for all of us who so dearly loved the concept. I know EA already featured you but I hope they can give this world the recognition it deserves, too. And if you upload to MTS, I wish you all the best and can say MTS would be lucky to get this world.
WR--words can not express how much fun it was to have you along for the testing of this world. I so enjoyed the Charlie's Angels reference and feeling a part of that. I am so glad you've come to love Moon Base as much as DD and I have loved it. It was also nice to "meet" the other testers. Envie, with all your mods and stuff you sure bring a different perpective to testing and it was very informative and interesting to read your take on things. ctx43801, lol--I have to name a simbot after you!
