Hey Rf, I need some help! (I hope you or someone else reading this can help anyways!)
I took one of your moon colony's houses (the white ones on Perimeter road) and decided to copy/reproduce it with some tricked out steampunk and metal/industrial stuff on the outside to make it fit more my idea of a hardcore atmospheric challenged living space. (that means I added an airlock with industrial airlock sliding doors, some steampunk metal panels, some air/water filtration machinery, etc. etc.)
I decided since Moon Base was still in testing (at the time) and I didn't want to fiddle with building while in that mode, I'd save the lot to another place to build it out. I've done this with lots in the past. I have something from MTS builder 'armiel' called Builder Island DIY - its just a teeny island with space enough for two lots. This makes saving and loading very fast.
Once I was done (hours of work) - I re-saved my lot to the bin, reloaded Moon Base Charlie, and plunked it down on the empty lot next to your others.
Here is what I got:

When I tried to use 'flatten lot' to fix it - this is what I got:

I am definitely a novice at building - but I do know somewhat how terrain and foundations, etc. work. So I cannot figure out why or how this happened. It has to be some variation in elevation between moon base and the builder's island that isn't apparent to me. Both lots appear flat, at ground level, next to the street.
Is there any help at all for fixing this problem or am I stuck with it? I'd hate to lose all that work on the house (which I was going to ask if I could feature for your world in my blog) because I can't bring it back down to the proper ground level. :(
EDIT: Sorry, had to remove my screenshots - they are apparently huge on picasa for blogging :( follow links to see.
