I'll get to giving thanks :)
2015 was a rather good year for me. I had a rather rough start finding out about a lifelong depression, but once found out one can work with it! So I did! 2015 is the year that I can honestly say 'I love life even with the things that make it tough, I love it!' For the first time in my life :) I have many people to thank for that, but yet mostly my man and this community! I always have a hard time making friends because I'm afraid of people their judgements. Because I'm shy people have thought many things about me, but coming here, I was welcomed! People seem to appreciate each other just for what they bring into the community and if something is going wrong people listen to each other. Maybe not always, but I have had such great experiences here!
Before coming here I would be found in the youtube comments section or on 9gag, where it is common to mock people who don't type correct English. Here people just don't care! Everybody is so helpful and tolerating. It has opened me up, showing me I really don't have to act like someone I'm not. If people here can accept me for who I am, than why not others?!
It even went so far that I came to peace with my sister cutting off all bonds between us, which is three years ago, ironically this christmas. Things still hurt, but this community has shown me that *I will survive*!
So thanks anyone I've ever read a post from! You may not all read this, but you all add to the experience :) thanks to those that have gifted! It has melted my heart and I found faith in humanity back! Thanks to those that make me laugh! Laughing really is one of the most important things in live :)
And, he may not be here on the forum, but thanks to my man, for putting up with a depressed girlfried for so long <3
Oh! And thanks because thursday my man and I will be together for 2,5 years! And because he will have his 24th birthday friday!
I have so many things to say thanks for, I'm afraid my letter would get boring, so I'll keep to this.
